Al and Krissy's Wedding
Al and Krissy, getting married by KimoShot on Canon G10 MR. AND MRS. COOLThe Hawaiian Wedding of Al and Krissy Al and Krissy emailed me a few weeks before their trip to Honolulu, to inquire about my wedding services. They originally had booked my eloping package with me, but because of a mix-up of communication, Al jumped the gun and ended up booking a minister with the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Nevertheless, Al called me because he wanted me to snap pictures at his wedding. Al informed me that he was on a budget, and I told him that was no problem. I had my handy pocket SLR Canon G10, and I could cover his entire wedding for a nominal price. He agreed.
From the first second I met Al, I knew that this would be a unique wedding. Although he and Krissy were eloping, he was extremely nervous. More so, he had booked a famous Hawaiian musician for their wedding, Jerry Santos.
Jerry Santos, singing for Al and Krissy's weddingShot on Canon G10 Jerry Santos, a very famous Hawaiian Musician, doesn't usually sing at weddings. More so, if he does perform gigs, he doesn't do it for free. But that is exactly what he did! Isn't that frigging cool? Kimo, a minister whom I never met but heard of before, performed the ceremony. He was supplied directly by the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Kimo did a great job with the ceremony. Mr. And Mrs. CoolShot on Canon G10 Al And Krissy were one of those extremely laid back, yet excited wedding couples. In attendance to their wedding was Al's mother, and two tourist who they had met a few days before their wedding. To sum it up, they were extremely cool....I mean...they are extremely cool. Going from Mr. and Mrs. Cool to Mr. and Mrs. TendernessShot on Canon G10 Al and Krissy are frequent travelers to Oahu. I promised them on their next trip, we would definitely hang out. My only regret was that I had to turn down an offer from them to hang out, as I was booked solid with weddings that week. On a photography note. This wedding was the second wedding in which I had shot completely in "manual mode" on my Canon G10. To date, I have shot over 10 weddings using my G10 camera. I still do though prefer film. It's much easier, and the colors turn out a lot more realistic. With that said though, that G10 camera takes some awesome pictures! Al, Krissy, I wish you my best. Don't forget to call me next time you get down here. Keep in touch. And Al, yes you are right, Krissy does look smoking! Steven Young The Hawaii Wedding Reporter http://www.dreamweddingsahawaii.com
