Making it legal. Yes, they are all ordained by The State of Hawaii!
MINISTER'S GONE WILD?
Not on my videos...
So here are few common questions that I get about my ministers.
What type of religious background are your ministers?
They are all non-denominational Christian ministers.
What type of ceremonies can they perform?
We can perform the following types of ceremonies:
- Christian – mention of Jesus Christ as their lord and savior
- Non-denomination – mention of a higher power, but we do not say who it is. Perfect for couples who are not Christian, or have partners of different faiths.
- Civil – no mention of God or a higher power.
Do you read from the Bible for your Christian and Non-denomination weddings?
Yes, usually the passage about love from Corinthians.

The traditional lei exchange...
What about a Hawaiian Ceremony?
Yes, for the most part, most of our ceremonies consist of several Hawaiian traditions. If you ordered leis, we can do a lie exchange. Many times, we perform a sharing of breathes ceremony where you and your fiancé touch noses together and foreheads together and share your first breath as a couple together. Then there are the ancient Hawaiian beliefs that we can also share with you as well.
Can I customize our wedding?
The answer…YES! You can write your own vows, have your cousin sing or dance a hula, you name it!!
What if we don't write our own vows, do you have any?
Yes, for the most part, most of our couples don't write their own vows. Here's an example of what your vows will look like. It may vary a little to little from each pastor, but for the most part, this is what they look like.
VOWS:
I______, take you____________ to be my wedded husband/wife, in the eyes of god. To have and to hold, from this day forward. In good times and in bad. For richer and for poorer, and in sickness and in health. To love, and to honor, and to cherish. I give you my faith. I give you my trust. I give you my heart. For it's you that I love. Till death does us part. This is my solemn vow. Before god and to you. I promise. And here are the words for the rings:
These rings being circles have no beginning and no end. They represent the eternal nature of true love. _________ and_________ as you wear your rings, let them remind you, from this moment on you will always be surrounded by each others love and caring. Your rings are also made of a precious metal, symbolizing your marriage as a divine union in the sight of god.
With this ring, I ________ thee wed. Let this ring ever be a symbol. Of my undying love. I now place this ring upon your hand.
Notes on writing your vows:
If you do end up writing your own vows, make sure to make them vows. Words of commitment… See most people do write special words, and to me, that's a lot better. Write about how your fiancé makes you feel, or completes you. Those things, well, those are the tear jerker things. So if you decide on writing special words rather than vows, we will have you recite or read your special words before you repeat the standard vows.
