Why a Destination Wedding is Cheaper than a Traditional Wedding

eloping-is-theway-1024x768 Why a Destination Wedding is Cheaper than a Traditional WeddingJust the two of us

TO GO BIG OR TO GO SMALL,
THAT IS THE QUESTION

According to “industry experts” the average wedding in 2018 was $33,391.  This figure, to me at least, is much higher.  I would say the average wedding couple will spend closer to $60,000 for a traditional wedding.   And to put everything into perspective, that’s $60,000 in four hours, where most of that money will go towards other people eating, and not towards something much more beneficial like a down payment on a house, a high yield mutual fund, a fancy car (Which I may add, even though the price of that car will go down after you dive it off the lot, at least you can own it for the next 10 years rather than 4 hours)

In my opinion, traditional weddings are expensive and huge debt traps.  Therefore, they should be avoided at all cost.

Why are traditional weddings so expensive?

Why are destination weddings cheaper than traditional weddings?

Is a SMALL destination wedding is BETTER than a BIG traditional wedding?

Saw this piece of great advice today on the back of a magazine.  Yeah, why don’t you put a second mortgage on that house to plan a big party (aka wedding).   Have fun for four hours and spend the next x amount of years in debt.

I pretty much do everything around here, from photography and video production, to the organization of all of my weddings. As you can see, I'm also the head writer too! If for some reason you can't reach me at my direct line, or my toll free number, feel free to hit me up on my company cell at (808) 479-0685. Call anytime...well, almost anytime. Don't call on Super Bowl Sunday or when the Philadelphia Eagles are playing!
