Hey everyone: future brides, current clients, and everyone in between!
Man-o-man, has it been awhile since I’ve written on my website! When I first put up my internet wedding portal, I was very much – the active blogger. Mainly, I wrote to put up relevant content for my customers on Oahu Weddings. But as time passed, it seemed as though I had already written about every topic I could think of regarding Hawaii weddings. So I wrote about movies, off-topic stuff, just to keep things exciting. I still have some pretty cool articles to write under my “list” category!
And then I got a bit busy touching up too many photos, and editing videos, writing my novel; and well, all of my blogging came to an abrupt end. Touching up photos takes a bit of time. Writing my novel; oh yeah, I forgot to tell you about that ~ well, that really takes a lot of time.
These past two years, it’s been rather humid in Hawaii. Last year, 2015, holy cow was it sticky. Humid weather meant shiny faces. Shiny faces mean a lot of airbrushing. Lots of airbrushing meant me not blogging. So humid weather – okay, you get the picture. 2016 weather has been better, weather wise. We’ve gotten a bit more rain than usual this summer, and a bit more hurricanes for some reason, but at least we don’t feel like Florida! That place feels like you’re walking in a bucket of urine all day long during the summer!
So last year I decided to get back into writing. It’s probably plastered over this site, but before I was a wedding planner, I was a screenwriter (a very unsuccessful one!) And now that I’m older, just a tad bit smarter, I’m going to try my hand at writing again and self-publishing a few novels to see where that gets me. I got an excellent co-writer, and surprisingly we conjured up a pretty cool “comic-book-world” that is rather unique. It’s just that writing a book is such a pain-the-ass! Off topic comment here, but the worse part about being a screenwriter was not getting my stuff out to an audience other than my mom. I’d slave on scripts, but because theses scripts were not made, no one could ever tell me how good, bad, or ugly, they were. At least by self-publishing my novel, I have the opportunity for people to say “You suck Steve!”
So, on my downtime, I’ve been working on my book, instead of blogging on my website.

The schedule for 2017 is filling up fast!
That’s about it for now! I’m going to try not to be a stranger. Emphasize on TRY! Okay, I need to get back to touching up photos.
