Simple Steps to Planning Your Wedding in Hawaii

Post-Hawaii-Wedding-15 Simple Steps to Planning Your Wedding in HawaiiPlanning your destination wedding doesn’t have to be stressful.

Baby Steps to That Dream Wedding

So what is “thee” first step to planning you awesome destination wedding?

Contacting  me.  The great Steve Young.

You can reach out either by phone, email, facebook messenger, or skype.  I also accept stalkers.  In my opinion, communicating via phone is probably the best way to start a dialogue as you can receive answers immediately, rather than waiting for an email reply.    If you’re at work, I understand that a phone call won’t work for you, that’s 100% okay.  Get ahold of me any way you want.  Except by male strip-o-gram.

Contacting me serves three main purposes:

  1. You can check my availability for your wedding.
  2. Receive answers to the layers of questions you may have
  3. Figure out if I’m mentally insane, or just a funny guy.

Somewhere along our first conversation, I’m gonna get  an idea for what you’re looking for in your wedding and have enough information to email you an estimate.
estimates Simple Steps to Planning Your Wedding in HawaiiYou will receive the estimates via email in pdf format

Here comes the nerdy serious part.

The estimate consists of the services we discussed, broken down into individual line items for price transparency reasons.   Simply eliminate what you don’t need, don’t want, and whatever is left is what you will get for your wedding.  More than likely, the estimate will generate more questions.  Which, I will of course, be happy to answer.  Cal me, email me, and again…no male strip-o-gram.

More nerdy talk.

Upon your wedding inquiry, your wedding date will be put on an unofficial hold.  This means that your wedding date will be reserved temporarily as we work on your estimate.    If I do get another inquiry for your wedding date while you decide what you want on the estimate, I will inform you immediately.  Since you inquired for the date first, you will always get the first opportunity to officially book it with a down payment, even if the other inquiring couple (celebrity couple) makes an offer with a generous down payment.

MAKING IT OFFICIAL

To officially book your wedding date, I will need a 50% down payment of whatever the grand total of your invoice is.  This down payment can be issued by check, money order, of credit card.  I do take online payments!  The rest of your payment is due on your wedding day.

The invoice may be modified after your down payment, but additional services are based upon availability.   For example, if you ordered a customized photography package without a minister, and decided that you needed a minister your wedding, there will be no guarantee that one of my ministers would be available.  This means, before you issue a down payment, make sure you have everything you want on that invoice.

AFTER IT’S OFFICIAL

Well, there’s really not much to do on my side other than to play video games and eat donuts.   On your side, you may still have to book your travel, buy your rings, fit your dress, etc..etc..   Anytime you have any questions, you can call or email me.

WHAT HAPPENS AS WE GET CLOSER TO YOUR WEDDING?
