For the men who serve, if you have a Mess Uniform, seriously consider it, at least for the ceremony. You can change to something more casual later, for the beach pictures. The mess uniform IS awesome. For the women who serve, the wedding dress still works better than the Mess uniform. Just my opinion. And, thank you all for your service.
Did an awesome wedding at THE POINT yesterday. This location is great for small and large weddings. It's private and on the west shore of Oahu. I always recommend the point if a couple wants an archway.
In the State of Hawaii, you can't have chairs or an arch on the beach. That's the law. I don't agree with it because it doesn't make any sense because if you're not getting married, and bbqing at the beach, you can put up a tent (which is like an arch), and you can have beach chairs, any amount. Our State is stupid, what can I say.
So, if you want an arch and chairs on the beach, you are stuck with booking a property that is right on the beach. Cheapest one out there - THE POINT on PARADISE COVE.
