Couple: Tamara and Nathan Location:
Lanikai Beach
Photographers Comments: This picture was
shot at 3pm on a busy Saturday. Lanikai beach was rather crowded
but we were able to trick our way to open shots. The wind
was unusually calm that day, and surf unbelievably flat. If
you want to tie the know here, makes sure to wear the hair
up and to have a short train. |

Couple: Tamara and Nathan
Location: Haiku Gardens
Photographers Comments: It had stormed
right before their ceremony, but the skies opened up at
the last second showing nothing but blue skies. Tamara and
Nathan were very flirty with each other. This is just one
of those moments where you just happen to be in the right
place at the right time. |

Couple: Tamara and Nathan
Location: Waimanalo Beach Park
Photographers Comments: The storm clouds
began to roll in during the latter portion of the day taking
away all blue skies so I decided to take the couples to
Waimanalo Beach Park. The trees here are amazing, consisting
of a yellowish gold bark. I also love the contrast with
the green weeds. This picture was great as it has two contrasting
feelings. Without the couple, this scenery show would feel
desolate and gloomy. But the couple's love is a contrast
to that feeling and lifts the entire mood of the picture.
Which is stronger, love or gloom...apparently love. |

Couple: Tamara and her Bridesmaids
Location: Lanikai Beach
Photographers Comments:I love the cinematic
feel of the shot with the landmark Lanikai mountains in
the background. Like all shots, we used a lot of flash to
get ride of the shadows underneath their eyes. This is actually
a trick shot on your eyes as the Lanikai Mountains are the
focus of the picture. You look at them first, but then your
eyes trail to the foreground subjects. Pretty neat huh.
I still get a kick at looking at this ultra flat surf. The
waves are about a centimeter high. |
